These Terms of Service govern your use of dmac5thdistrict.com, the official website of the Desert Mountain Annual Conference (DMAC), 5th Episcopal District, African Methodist Episcopal Church. By browsing or using this site, you agree to the terms below.

By accessing or using dmac5thdistrict.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
2. Use of This Site
This site is provided to share information about the 140th Annual Session of the Desert Mountain Annual Conference, including conference details, registration, sponsorship, Component Group information, and related resources for the Mountain Valley District. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended purpose as a conference information and registration resource.
3. Registration & Payments
Conference registration, vendor registration, and related payments are processed through our third-party payment platform, Zeffy. Any registration fees, vendor costs, or additional charges (such as power or equipment fees) will be disclosed at the time of registration. All payments are subject to Zeffy's own terms of service, which are separate from and in addition to these Terms.
Hotel reservations at the Marriott Phoenix Chandler made through our group booking link are a separate agreement between you and Marriott, subject to Marriott's own terms and cancellation policies.
4. Restricted Areas
Certain areas of this site — including the Component Group Leaders Portal and the Pastor's Toolkit — are password-protected and intended solely for authorized individuals designated by the conference office. Credentials for these areas may not be shared with unauthorized parties. Attempting to access restricted areas without authorization is prohibited.
5. Intellectual Property
The content, design, graphics, and materials on this site — including the DMAC brand identity, logos, and conference materials — are the property of the Desert Mountain Annual Conference and/or its designers and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for unrelated purposes without prior written permission.
6. Third-Party Links & Services
This site contains links to third-party services, including Zeffy (registration/payments) and Marriott (hotel reservations). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites. Your use of any linked third-party service is at your own discretion and subject to that service's own terms.
7. Event Changes & Disclaimer
Conference dates, schedules, speakers, locations, and programming are subject to change at the discretion of conference leadership. While we make every effort to keep this site current, information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Desert Mountain Annual Conference, its leadership, and its website designers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, your attendance at conference events, or your reliance on information published here.
9. Conduct
Users of this site are expected to interact with it, and with the conference community more broadly, in a manner consistent with the values of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, given that the 140th Annual Session convenes in Chandler, Arizona.
